According to Frank Glaw, who led the team of scientist responsible for the diminutive reptile’s discovery, the adult B. micra is scarcely larger than half an inch from nose to bottom. “Maybe there’s a potential for a smaller species,” says Glaw, who is returning to Madagascar this November to seek out new species. “I’m sure there are many surprises awaiting discovery.” [msnbc.]
